UMM Vocational Cooperation with Malang Regency Government Opens Job Opportunities for Vocational High School Graduates to Japan

The University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM) together with the Malang Regency Government (Pemkab) are committed to supporting Vocational High School (SMK) graduates to get job opportunities, both domestically and abroad. This is especially about the job opportunities that are open in Japan. UMM Director of Vocational Education, Tulus Winarsunu explained, his party was very open to work together in opening up the widest possible job opportunities for SMK graduates. Moreover, UMM Vocational School has also collaborated with a number of countries. "That way, we can facilitate graduates who have the potential to get the best places," he said.

Tulus also mentioned several fields of work and careers that could allow for departure. Some of these include food and beverage production, agriculture, building cleaning, fisheries, and aquaculture. He hopes that this meeting can produce tremendous benefits so that it can encourage SMK graduates to dream big and get decent jobs. In this program, SMK graduates who will have a career in Japan are required to meet general requirements. They will also be given a year's training in the UMM Vocational Dormitory which includes Japanese language education and work competencies.
